UPDATE 6/4/2020
The Annual Risk Control Event which was postponed on May 14, 2020 with a tentative re-scheduled date of August 20th is being canceled. In speaking with the Rockies about the uncertainty of MLB season and the inability to gather a large group, we regrettably made the decision to cancel the event for this year.
We expect to bring the tradition back in the Spring of 2021. In the next few business days all attendees who had paid for the event will be receiving refunds via Pay Pal. We look forward to the opportunity to host this event next year and ‘hit it out of the park’. In the meantime, we wish the best for everyone’s health, safety, and prosperity.
UPDATE 4/15/2020
Due to the current COVID19 Pandemic, the 6th Annual Risk Control Event that had been planned at Coors Field on Thursday, May 14 is in the process of being re-scheduled. MLB has not released any updates other than the current 2-week suspension of the season.
With the current conditions, we anticipate an update to the start of the season and a possible rearranging of the game schedule. We are in continual contact with the Rockies and will communicate any updates to our event when we receive notice.
We are currently looking at moving the date to Thursday, August 20th in hopes that there is a return to normal in the summer. If you are a paid attendee, please send an email to Richd@vanoppenco2.com if you would like a refund. Otherwise, we will keep you registered until such time as we finalize the new date.
